As teams throughout the NASL continue to bolster rosters ahead of preseason, two clubs were able to bring in international additions. Here are some of Friday’s NASL news and notes:
One day after signing Venezuelan legend Juan Arango, the New York Cosmos have signed Venezuelan international Yohandry Orozco. The 24-year-old midfielder has made 25 senior international appearances and has previously featured for German club Wolfsburg and Venezuelan Primera División side Deportivo Táchira. (REPORT)
Miami FC has added 24-year-old Cuban international Jorge Luis Corrales. The left back previously featured for and captained Pinar del Rio FC. (REPORT)
NASL Best XI midfielder Ibson has signed a new deal to remain with Minnesota United. In 26 appearances in 2015, the Brazilian provided six goals and four assists. (REPORT)
Indy Eleven has revealed the club’s nine-game preseason schedule, which includes matches against Ottawa Fury FC and five USL teams. (REPORT)
