After watching their rival Arsenal hoist the FA Cup for the past two years, Manchester United has a chance to do it themselves on Saturday.
The Red Devils will take on Crystal Palace for the prestigious title with an opportunity to match the Gunners’ 12 cup wins. The two sides previously squared off in the 1990 FA Cup final with United emerging victorious after a 1-0 win in replay.
For United, a win would be their first FA Cup title since 2004 while a victory for Crystal Palace would give the Eagles their first FA Cup ever. Kickoff for that contest is schedule for 12:30 p.m.
Elsewhere, the Spanish Copa Del Rey, the German DFB Pokal and the Coupe de France will each take place as well with Barcelona-Sevilla, Bayern Munich-Borussia Dortmund and Marseille vs. Paris Saint-Germain competing in the respective finals.
International competitions will garner some attention also with the FIFA Toulon Tournament taking place and the U.S. Men’s National Team participating in a friendly with Puerto Rico in preparation for the Copa America Centenario.
As for MLS action, Philadelphia Union-D.C. United, New York City FC-New York Red Bulls, Portland Timbers-Vancouver Whitecaps and LA Galaxy-San Jose Earthquakes will all get national coverage this weekend. The New England Revolution, meanwhile, will play their first game with newly acquired Kei Kamara at home against FC Dallas.

IF Crystal Palace wins the FA Cup, then they get a Europa spot and knocks an English team out? Is that correct?
Eng has 3 Europa slots – 5th place EPL, Capital One & FACup. ManC won the Capital, so that slot goes to 6th place EPL ; if Man U wins FACup that slot goes to 7th place EPL as United already has the 5th place slot. So yes, 7th place club loses out if Palace wins the cup, but Eng does not ‘lose’ any slots
Thanks. That explains it!
