The 2017 Gold Cup is just several months away, and CONCACAF has announced a list of 14 stadiums set to play host to next summer’s competition.
A total of 13 metropolitan areas will host games during next summer’s Gold Cup, which is set to run from July 7-26. The U.S. Men’s National Team and Mexico have already qualified and will play in Groups B and C, respectively.
The USMNT’s Group Stage journey will take them to Nashville, Tampa Bay and Cleveland, while Mexico will feature in San Diego, Denver and San Antonio. Group A, which has yet to be assigned a seeded team, will be contested in Harrison, Houston and Dallas.
Of the 14 stadiums, four will host Gold Cup matches for the first time. San Antonio’s Alamodome, Nashville’s Nissan Stadium and Cleveland’s FirstEnergy Stadium are set to host Group Stage matches while Santa Clara’s Levi’s Stadium will host a Knockout Round clash.
“We’re excited to bring the Gold Cup to new markets across the country. These cities have all proved ready and eager to host our region’s marquee soccer championship, and welcome world class international soccer next summer,” said CONCACAF General Secretary Philippe Moggio. “With matches also set for some of our more popular venues over the years, such as Dallas, Los Angeles and New York, next year’s Gold Cup will highlight the top-tier sporting status of international soccer across the nation.”
Group assignments and Knockout Round scheduling will be announced at a later date.

Home field advantage again! We are wining this thing for sure.
By “we” I am sure you mean “Mexico.”
No Seattle? Lame.
They need to put real grass in Seattle…long overdue…
Is it possible CONCACAF could reduce it’s greed a bit and let this tournament take place every 4 years like every other confederation. The every other year frequency is too much.
From those locations I would guess
Group A Costa Rica
Group B USA
Group C Mexico
