The English Premier League is on the soccer schedule for the fourth consecutive day, and the sixth time in seven days as the holiday schedule begins to come to a close.
Just like the last two sets of matches during the last week, there aren’t too many eye-catching matchups, but there is still plenty on the line as the second half of the season begins. Monday’s six-game slate begins with Leicester City visiting the Riverside Stadium to take on Middlesbrough in a battle of clubs looking to escape the relegation fight.
Liverpool and Manchester City will both look to put as much pressure as they can on Chelsea during the group of 10 a.m. kickoffs. The Reds head to the Stadium of Light to play Sunderland and Pep Guardiola’s men host Burnley. Manchester United’s trip down to London to play West Ham United concludes Monday’s schedule.
