Soccer Thursday: Your Running Commentary

UEFA Europa League action leads the way on Thursday, and the Round of 16 is promising some juicy matchups.

Perhaps no match is more exciting than a clash between Lyon and Roma as the two highly-ranked teams within their own leagues match up in continental competition.

An all-Bundesliga clash also features, as Schalke 04 meet Borussia Monchengladbach on the European stage. Elsewhere, Manchester United take on Rostov in leg one of their match. Copenhagen will take on Ajax, APOEL Nicosia faces Anderlecht, KAA Gent take on Belgian rival Racing Genk, Celta Vigo meets Krasnodar, and Olympiakos faces Turkish side Besiktas to round out the Europa League matches.

Later on, the Copa Libertadores returns with four group stage matches. Brazilian side Santos take on Sporting Cristal in the late match, while Lanus meet Nacional, The Strongest face off against Santa Fe, and finally Zamora take on Gremio to round out the action.
