World Cup 2018 kicks off one year from today

A lot can change in a year. Players and teams can rise or fall within 365 calendar days as the soccer world is seemingly always moving at breakneck speed.

That said, we are exactly one year away from the start of the 2018 World Cup.

In just 365 days, Russia will kick off the 2018 World Cup in Moscow, beginning the latest edition of the world’s biggest tournament. There’s still so much to decide in the coming months and so many scenarios that can inevitably play out, making the next 12 months vital for teams all over the world.

As for the U.S. Men’s National Team, a pair of recent qualifying results have them on a good track. With eight points through six games, the U.S. sits in third place in the CONCACAF Hexagonal and in the driver’s seat for a spot in next summer’s World Cup.

With that in mind, what are your expectations for the next year? What do you want to see happen before the 2018 World Cup kicks off? How do you see the next 365 days playing out?
