The SBI Show: Episode 342 (USMNT-Jamaica Preview)

The U.S. men’s national team is riding high after Friday’s impressive win against Mexico, but must now secure another road win in World Cup qualifying to ensure calling November’s window a complete success and the latest episode of The SBI Show breaks down how the Americans will do that.

Host Ives Galarcep provides an in-depth preview of the USMNT’s World Cup qualifier against Jamaica in Kingston, with Gregg Berhalter’s side standing in first place in the Octagonal.

Episode 342 breaks down the lineup we could see for the USMNT, as well as what the Americans should expect from Jamaica, which they will be facing for the fourth time in eight years.

The show wraps up talking MLS Awards finalists, as well as the NWSL playoffs.

  1. Ives, Sorry, Long time reader, but I’m not a subscriber currently. That’s why it took me this long to respond to your last episode #341.

    All is well for now, but I still think you gave Berhalter a little too much credit (sure, everyone has his/her own opinion.) in Episode 341. There seems to be TWO Gregg Berhalters, the manager of the USMNT. When the pressure is on and his job on the line such as in the WCQ games against Mexico, the 2nd half of Honduras, Costa Rica; however, there’s also the Berhalter who made the US fans scratching their heads in the WCQ games vs El Salvador, Canada, the 1st half of Honduras & Panama. Whatever the real reasons behind the scene that caused such phenomenons, we may never be able to find out. Having said that, it does not give me, as a fan of the USMNT, a warm and fuzzy feeling not knowing which Gregg Berhalter will show up in a given USMNT’s game.
