  1. He seems to have lost some confidence so it was good to see him score a goal and just miss out on a brace on a close offside call. At his best he is our most dangerous attacker. He’s in a tough spot at Chelsea vying for minutes w a lot of other talented attackers and also I feel Tuchel’s system isn’t the best fit for him. Love to watch him play and hoping that he gets back to the level he’s capable of.

  2. Agree. I think he read online comments, or someone said something. He got fouled hard in his first 5 seconds on the field and he popped up like an NFL player and walked it off without complaining. I’m just one fan but I really appreciated it. We talk about grinding it out. Showing visible frustration is the opposite of grinding it out.

  3. He was terrible vs. Canada, whining about everything, not defending with urgency in the team concept, so many negatives. Not last night.

I loved his reaction to scoring that goal, humble even. I’d say someone spoke to him but that’s only speculation on my part

    Nice attitude adjustment imo

    • 100% He was pretty awful and that was nice to see. That’s all we can ask of someone. We all have bad spells, mentally, physically, emotionally… having enough self awareness, toughness, perseverance to grind through and recover will make or break a career. .No surprise here- CP ain’t going anywhere.. Hoping this was the start of his turn-around… be great to have him rolling in Azteca
