Borussia Dortmund’s six-match winning run in all competitions will be put to the test on Wednesday in the resumption of the UEFA Champions League.
Gio Reyna and his Dortmund teammates face off with English Premier League visitors Chelsea in the first leg of their Round of 16 tie. Reyna earned his first start since November on Saturday, logging 66 minutes in a 2-0 victory over Werder Bremen. The 20-year-old has scored three Bundesliga goals since the resumption of Dortmund’s league schedule, but now fights to play a role in European competition. Wednesday will mark the first-ever competitive showdown between Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea and a strong performance from Reyna could help play the difference at Signal Iduna Park.
In England, Josh Sargent and Norwich City host Hull City in EFL Championship play. Daryl Dike and West Brom take on Blackburn Rovers. Zack Steffen and Middlesbrough visit Sheffield United.
In Brazil, Johnny Cardoso and International continue their schedule in the Gaucho competition.
