La Liga’s two most decorated clubs face off in the fifth and final El Classico of the season on Wednesday.
Real Madrid and Barcelona meet at the Camp Nou for the second leg of their Copa del Rey semifinal matchup. Los Blancos travel to Barcelona down 1-0 on aggregate after their first leg loss in Madrid.
Barcelona have won three in a row since losing the first El Clasico of the season, marking the first time since 2011 that they have won three straight games against Real Madrid in all competitions.
Last go around, a dramatic late winner from Franck Kessie saw Barcelona victories. The 2-1 win propelled Xavi and his side 12 points clear of Real Madrid as Barcelona close in on its 27th La Liga title with 12 league matches remaining.
In Italy, Derby d’Italia takes centerstage as Inter Milan travel to Allianz Stadium for its Coppa Italia Semi-final match with bitter rivals Juventus. The two faced off last just last month in a defensive battle, where Fillip Kostic’s lone goal was enough for Juve to leave the San Siro with three points.
At Stamford Bridge, Chelsea host eighth place Liverpool in midweek Premier League action. Both sides suffered defeats over the weekend as the Blues loss 2-0 to Aston Villa and Liverpool were victims of a blowout 4-1 loss to Manchester City. Chelsea FC announced the departure of head coach Graham Potter on Sunday ahead of its meeting with Liverpool.
The CONCACAF Champions League continues this week with the Quarter-final kicking off on Tuesday featuring a two-match slate and a pair of matches on Wednesday. The Philadelphia Union headline Tuesday’s action hosting Liga MX side Atlas in its first leg tie. The action continues Wednesday when Los Angeles FC travel to BC Place to take on the Vancouver Whitecaps.

2. Chelsea v Liverpool – After domestic league defeats for both sides over the weekend the two face off at Stamford Bridge in a crucial match for both sides and their managers. With the Blues falling to 11th place following its 2-0 loss, the club announced the departure of manager Graham Potter on Sunday.
3. Juventus v Inter Milan – The Copa Italia Semi-final kicks off its first leg match between the two Italian giants in Juventus and Inter Milan on Wednesday. The last time the two meant in an ill-tempered affair where Juventus secured a 1-0 victory over its Italian foes.
4. Vancouver Whitecaps v Los Angeles FC – The two Major League Soccer clubs square off in their first-leg of the CCL Quarter-final at BC Place. After domestic league victories for both clubs over the weekend both remain undefeated in the regular-season.
5. Barcelona v Real Madrid – After a 1-0 victory for Barcelona in its first leg tie, Real Madrid visit the infamous Camp Nou in the El Clasico Copa del Rey edition.
