The Serie A table has been revolutionized after the Federal Court of Appeal confirmed a 10-point penalty for Juventus, sending the Old Lady from second place with 69 points to seventh with 59 points.

Despite the Old Ladies point deduction Champions League football is still attainable for Italy’s most decorated club. If Juventus wishes to keep its Champions League hopes alive Massimiliano Allegri and his side must beat AC Milan in this weekend’s headliner.

While the point deduction crippled Juve, teams around Italy benefited from the ruling. Inter Milan, AC Milan, Atalanta and Roma all leapfrogged Juventus ahead of the second to last match of the season.

The deduction propelled AC Milan into fourth place ahead of its clash with Juventus this weekend, giving The Red and Blacks a perfect opportunity to secure a Champions League spot for next season.

The battle for European football rages on in Italy when third place Inter Milan host sixth place Atalanta in a crucial match for both clubs.

With Napoli and Lazio already securing Champions League football next season, Inter Milan could follow suit this weekend by collecting one point in it’s match with Atalanta.

In Germany, Borussia Dortmund are on the brink of its first league title in eleven years. With the final match of the season on Saturday the Black and Yellow control their own destiny against ninth place Mainz.

A win guarantees Edin Terzic and his side the Bundesliga title, anything less and the title can fall into the hands of the ten-time defending champions Bayern Munich.

After securing Champions League football for the first time since 2003, NewCastle United travel to Stamford Bridge to take on an underwhelming Chelsea side. Frank Lampard and his Blues return home for another tough match following a poor performance at the week, losing to Manchester United 4-1.
