The 32-club field for the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League field is set with a total of 10 American players prepared for involvement in the group stage.
Christian Pulisic, Gio Reyna and Yunus Musah headline 10 American players that will now prepare for the start of the six-match group stage round, which will begin on September 19-20. Sergino Dest, Ricardo Pepi, Malik Tillman and Sam Vines all clinched spots via the qualifying rounds, as PSV and Royal Antwerp guaranteed their berths Wednesday.
Jordan Pefok, Brenden Aaronson, and Cameron Carter-Vickers round out the players that will hope for positive performances in this season’s competition. Pefok remains a Union Berlin player for now but has been linked with a potential loan move to Borussia Moenchengladbach.
Defending UCL winners Manchester City and Europa League winners Sevilla are in Pot 1 with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, La Liga winners Barcelona and Serie A champions Napoli. Pot 2 will also be highly contested with Real Madrid, Manchester United, Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund all included in the eight-team pot.
AC Milan, PSV, and Lazio headline Pot 3, while Newcastle United, Celtic and Young Boys are among the clubs in Pot 4.
