AC Milan made it back-to-back Serie A victories on Wednesday with U.S. men’s national team star Christian Pulisic excelling in the Rossoneri’s attack.
Pulisic started and registered one assist in a 3-1 road victory for Stefano Pioli’s men at Cagliari. The 25-year-old Pulisic played 69 minutes at left wing, delivering a sensational performance for the current second-place side.
After falling down 1-0 in the opening 20 minutes, AC Milan needed a fight back to get back into the match. Noah Okafor tied the match in the 40th minute after Pulisic’s cross from the wing was not cleared in the box, allowing the young forward to score on a rebound.
Fikayo Tomori propelled the visitors in front just before halftime, making it 2-1.
Pulisic’s cut back pass allowed Ruben Loftus-Cheek to seal three points for the Rossoneri in the 60th minute. The USMNT attacker watched as Loftus-Cheek’s 25-yard drive nestled into the back of the net for a 3-1 scoreline.

AC Milan is up to second place in the Serie A table, level on 15 points with city rivals Inter. A busy schedule continues with a home league showdown against Lazio on Saturday before a trip to Borussia Dortmund in UEFA Champions League play on October 4.
CP is a bit inconsistent sure, but when he delivers, he DELIVERS. Everyone just back off the young don!
Exactly. He will continue to get comfortable with Milan. 2 goals and an assist with 3 hickey assists to the start season is a very positive sign.
