It’s been a tough La Liga campaign for Celta Vigo and Saturday’s home date with Barcelona won’t be any easier.
Luca De La Torre and the rest of the Celta Vigo squad welcome the Catalan club to town in a crucial league match for both sides. Rafa Benitez’s team have only won two of their league matches this year and desperately need to start stockpiling points to avoid relegation this spring.
De La Torre has registered three goals and two assists across all competitions this year, growing into a key contributor for the squad. The veteran midfielder will now try and lead an upset win over Barcelona, which could be what skyrockets them into a strong run of form.
In England, Josh Sargent and Ethan Horvath face off in the EFL Championship. Antonee Robinson and Fulham face Aston Villa. Gio Reyna and Nottingham Forest take on slumping West Ham United.
