Le Havre has found it tough to find the win column in recent weeks by Saturday’s road draw with Paris Saint-Germain will certainly feel like a victory.
Emmanuel Sabbi assisted once and played 90 minutes in a 3-3 result at the Parc Des Princes. Sabbi, who has been a bright spot for La Havre this season, entered the match with five goals for the Ligue 1 side. He set up Christopher Operi for the opening goal of the match before the two teams traded goals throughout the final 70+ minutes.
Sabbi won six duels, drew one foul, and made five interceptions from his left wing position. The 26-year-old will try and help Le Havre avoid relegation this May with three matches left to play.
In England, Auston Trusty and Sheffield United suffered relegation from the English Premier League. Josh Sargent scored for Norwich City.
In Italy, Yunus Musah shined at right back for AC Milan. Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie, and Tim Weah also featured.
In France, Emmanuel Sabbi assisted once for Le Havre in a 3-3 draw with PSG.
Elsewhere, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Celtic won at Dundee FC. Mark McKenzie and Genk lost at home to Club Brugge. George Bello and LASK rolled to three points. Dante Polvara impressed in a home win for Aberdeen. Paxten Aaronson scored twice in a home win for Vitesse.

The officiating in the Chelsea-Barcelona match was farcical
Yamashitaesque
ruined a fun match…ruined it
not even at least kind of trying to hide it out there, just nike swoosh it…just do it
Should get Emma here faster though so, I guess I feel bad for Cat and Mia but …
Heard Henry Wingo is coming back to MLS. Wouldn’t be surprised if Amon or Cappis return to the US as well. Alex Mendez hasn’t played since Jan despite dressing most weeks. It’s hard to tell how much they could help a team in MLS since Danish league and Portuguese league are hard to find. We haven’t seen Richie Ledezma actually get on the field since returning to PSV either.
Joel Imasuen another brace, 35g on the season as Werder Bremen II continue their perfect season 27-0 +180. There other forward has 45g.
———————-
Cole Campbell a brace as well in Junior A U19s. 8g 10a in all comps. This week they played SC Verl whose full squad plays 3Liga. According to Transfermkt he played as the CF, with regular starter Paris Brunner moving up to Dortmund II this week.
Really hope Mitrovic plays Paxten Aaronson as the 10 in a 4-3-2-1 for the Olympic team.
Good to see Taylor Booth is back. Hope to see him on the Olympic team.
Hope to see Pukstas with the Olympic team as well.
Pukstas hasn’t been in any camp with U23s so far and with the 18 man roster limit I don’t think you’ll see him in Paris.
————————-
U23s under Mitrovic have used the old 3G 4-3-3 Double 8s with Paxten as a half space wing, I guess I don’t know if you consider that a 10 or Winger.
hey 2tone, saw you mentioned Zendejas in another thread as an option for the Copa team. could do a lot worse.
his issue in the uni wasn’t in playing and connecting with others going forward or in defending or in transition working hard…it was finishing
he’s been finishing. Does he break into the team? idk, but wouldn’t be a bad choice imo
No
Aaronosn in my opinion needs to be the CAM not on the wing. That way you can get Booth or Yow on the wing.
My guess 5 CMs will be taken and I woukd put Pukstas on the team. Pukstas, Busio, Aaronson, Tessman, A.Morris woukd be my CM’s.
They haven’t used a 10 so far so I think your wish will be unfulfilled. Cremaschi and McGlynn would also be in that CM mix. You also have Luna, that if you used a 10 I’d prefer Diego feeding Pax than the other way. But I wouldn’t be sad about Pax as a 10 just don’t see them doing that.
Beachbum-
I’m a BIG Zendejas fan mostly because he offers us something we don’t have and I like having different tools in the box to choose from. On the right side he gives you an inverted winger who will tuck in and connect and who can play in tiny spaces. He’s got extremely good touch and is extremely technical…yes, I wish his finishing was more consistent for us, but he allows the sort of tight 1-2 combos and provides the crafty movement you need to break down a low block. I’d have a hard time leaving him off a tournament roster knowing we were going to play group stage games against teams that were likely to bunker against us.
