CONCACAF Gold Cup cities, venues announced for 2025 edition

The host cities and venues for the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup have been revealed.

CONCACAF announced the 14 stadiums and cities for the summer tournament, which will be the U.S. men’s national team’s final major preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The tournament will take place between June 14 – July 6 and will see three venues hosting matches for the very first time in the competition.

The Gold Cup group stage will feature four groups of four teams each, with the top eight-ranked finishers advancing to the knockout stage. The Knockout Stage will commence with the Quarterfinals on June 28 and 29, followed by the Semifinals on July 2, and the Final on July 6.

Vancouver’s BC Place, San Jose’s PayPal Park, and Minneapolis’ U.S. Bank Stadium will welcome Gold Cup matches to their area for the first time.

“The Concacaf Gold Cup is our flagship event for men’s national teams and the 2025 edition is certain to be a highly competitive tournament that delivers on and off the pitch for the competing teams and their fans,” Concacaf President and FIFA Vice President Victor Montagliani, said. “As the last official centralized tournament in our region before the FIFA World Cup 2026, this Gold Cup will provide all participating federations with a great challenge and will be critical to their preparations for World Cup qualification and for participation in the FIFA World Cup itself. The tournament will create a tremendous opportunity for fans across the confederation to engage with the sport at such a pivotal time for its development.”

  1. Odd not a single city east of the Mississippi hosting any games, not even Cincy or CBus. Makes for easier travel but never seen the East Coast shut out like this ever before.

    • we will be hosting club world cup roughly same time as gold cup next summer. way it looked to me the idea is western venues host gold cup and mostly eastern plus seattle host club world cup. don’t wanna double book it.

along similar lines, teams may be asking to keep players for club world cup same time we want them for the final summer tournament tune up in gold cup.
