Christian Pulisic assists once in AC Milan victory

Christian Pulisic looks to be picking up steam once again for AC Milan.

Pulisic registered one assist in the Rossoneri’s 3-0 Serie A victory over Empoli on Saturday. The result extended AC Milan’s unbeaten streak to six matches in all competitions, keeping them just outside of the top seven in the Serie A table.

Alvaro Morata propelled the hosts in front 1-0 after 19 minutes before Pulisic played a key role in the Rossoneri’s second goal of the first half.

Pulisic’s looped cross from the right wing fell to Tijjani Reijnders, who slotted home for AC Milan’s second goal of the night. It was Pulisic’s fourth assist in Serie A play this season.

Reijnders would extend AC Milan’s lead to 3-0 in the 69th minute, finishing off Youssouf Fofana’s pass for his second goal of the night.

Pulisic logged 90 minutes on the night, creating the most offensive chances (4), drawing the most fouls (4), and winning the most duels of any player (8).

Fellow U.S. men’s national team player Yunus Musah logged 75 minutes from the start alongside Pulisic.

The Rossoneri will next host Sassuolo in Coppa Italia action on Tuesday at the San Siro.
