It was a productive and winning week for Weston McKennie.
McKennie logged 158 minutes in a pair of appearances, scoring once and helping Juventus earn back-to-back victories. The U.S. men’s national team midfielder earned SBI Americans Abroad Player of the Week honors for his strong shifts in Thiago Motta’s starting lineup.
McKennie was impactful midweek as Juventus claimed a Champions League first leg victory over PSV. The American midfielder’s powerful finish helped the Bianconeri earn a 2-1 win heading into this week’s second leg.
McKennie followed that up by logging 90 minutes as the Bianconeri defeated rivals Inter Milan 1-0 in Serie A play on Sunday. The victory moved Juventus into fourth place on 46 points.
The 26-year-old’s services will likely be needed again as Juventus aims for advancement into the UCL Round of 16.
Here is a look at some of the other top Americans Abroad performers from this past week:
Josh Sargent
The USMNT’s No. 1 striker role for this March’s CONCACAF Nations League schedule could be falling into the lap of Josh Sargent.
Sargent scored his fifth goal in his past four appearances on Saturday as Norwich City tied Hull City 1-1. The USMNT forward has continued to find the back of the net at will, which is a positive sign for the Canaries’ push for a top-six finish.
With Ricardo Pepi, Haji Wright, and Folarin Balogun all injured, Sargent is Mauricio Pochettino’s top option for the No. 9 role if he stays healthy.
Paxten Aaronson
Paxten Aaronson is quickly becoming one of the more productive midfielders in the Eredivisie this season.
Aaronson registered his sixth goal of the season on Saturday in FC Utrecht’s 2-2 road draw with reigning champions PSV. The 21-year-old has continued to play ample minutes in Ron Jans’ squad, which has led to FC Utrecht being in the European qualification race.
Crystal Dunn
A PSG debut for Crystal Dunn ended with one assist and three points.
Dunn assisted once in PSG’s 4-1 league victory over Montpellier. The U.S. women’s national team veteran didn’t waste any time in making an impact for her new club. PSG remains in the hunt for the league title, but cannot afford many slip-ups with only seven matches left to go.
Alex Zendejas
Club America suffered a home defeat on Friday but Alex Zendejas continued his impactful start to the season.
Zendejas assisted once in a 3-2 loss, giving him six goal contributions in his first four appearances of the Clausura season. The USMNT winger will be hard to keep out of international involvement if he continues to keep up this blistering run of form (three goals, three assists in five 2025 appearances).
What did you think of these individual performances this past week? Was there anyone left off the list that you would’ve added?

Weston McKennie is must watch TV these days. He really is fun to watch. I’d like him to be more selfish though.
