Christian Pulisic refutes spat with AC Milan manager Conceicao

Christian Pulisic has refuted claims that he has a current rift with AC Milan boss Sergio Conceicao.

Pulisic took to social media on Thursday to voice his opinion regarding recent reports of disagreements between him and Conceicao. Despite La Repubblica’s report that the U.S. men’s national team attacker wanted to leave Milan if the Conceicao was not fired as manager, Pulisic vowed his commitment to the club.

“I have never argued with the coach and I have never asked to leave,” Pulisic said on social media via AC Milan’s X account. “I am very happy at Milan and I want to continue wearing this shirt. Reading these lies is unacceptable, but let’s all continue to remain united and fight together on the pitch, for the club and for our fans.”

Conceicao was hired as AC Milan boss on December 30 and led the Rossoneri to the Supercoppa Italiana trophy in January. However, AC Milan suffered UEFA Champions League elimination midweek at the hands of Feyennord, with Pulisic being substituted in the 63rd minute.

The 26-year-old Pulisic has remained one of AC Milan’s best players this season, tallying 12 goals and nine assists in 33 total appearances. He has earned the club’s Player of the Month honors on two occasions this campaign and leads AC Milan in goal contributions (21).

Continued pressure is on Conceicao with the Rossoneri sitting seventh in the Serie A table on 41 points.

AC Milan will travel to Torino and Bologna in back-to-back matches over the next week.
