Christian Pulisic is stepping up at a key time of the season for AC Milan.
Pulisic scored his 15th goal of the season across all competitions as the Rossoneri defeated Como 2-1 in Serie A play on Saturday. The U.S. men’s national team forward has now scored three goals in his last two appearances, which bodes nicely for upcoming international duty.
After falling down 1-0 in the first half, AC Milan needed a second-half rally to get back into the match. Pulisic got onto the end of Tijjani Reijnders pass before slotting home for a 1-1 equalizer.
Reijnders would deliver the winning goal for the Rossoneri, giving Sergio Conceicao’s squad a massive three points in their quest for European Football.
The 26-year-old Pulisic now has 24 total goal contributions this season, two shy of his season total from 2023-24. AC Milan will rely heavily on Pulisic’s playmaking abilities over the final weeks of the campaign, but first the USMNT star heads into an important international window.

…and OL scored 3 goals with him on the field after being down 2-1.
Brendan’s form is dipping, wow can’t b believe his performance against QPR. Very lacklusterand uninspiring. Need for him to get confidence and form back up for this summer USMNT duty and Leeds EPL campaign.
I’m rooting for the guy but his career at Leeds is over. The fans turned on him a long time ago, and he just hasn’t done that well against top teams in the Championship. Basically he’s a $30 bust who is trying too hard and only making it worse. It would be in the best interest of both parties if Leeds sell him at a loss: he’s not good enough for the EPL – they will surely go out and find an upgrade to fill the #10 role – and BA needs to go somewhere where the pressure to justify the big transfer fee (and win back the fans) is no longer on his shoulders.
*$30 Million
Brendan has always been blessed with quick feet, the ability to strike the ball and the tenacity of a bulldog. But while that made him an interesting 20 y.o. prospect, it has always been obvious that he has to get stronger to succeed. The Championship is a very physical league where his lack of strength has become more obvious. He is a bit better about going to ground now, but it is seldom a question of whether his opponent will be shrugged off, he won’t. I don’t know if bulking up will hurt his quickness or endurance, but …
This is the first I have been hearing recently that Aaronson is performing in an outstanding fashion. He is still starting at a team competing for and in line for an automatic promotion to the EPL from the Championship. I can see that he was substituted at half-time, but that doesn’t mean his time is done. With his style, run-run-run-run-run – he gets tired at the end of a season. Past seasons have shown his effectiveness tails off. The Championship is a long hard season. Maybe he needs a game off – which hasn’t happened.
I am not doubting what you all have read or what you are viewing on Paramount +. I am just saying the guy hasn’t fallen off a cliff like these posts seem to say.
Farke makes no bones about it.
Brenden starts because of his work rate.
If you took that away he’d still be in MLS.
He’s a great kid and a great story and fits the USMNT fan’s myth that if you just work really, really, really hard and run your butt off every game nothing else matters. American fans think that way and so do a lot of Brit fans.
In terms of his skills and abilities, he is skilled, certainly just a bit more compared to an Ariolla or a Ferreira. But at the EPL/Championship level, he’s not skilled enough. And he lacks goal “productivity”. As a 10 or winger, he’s just got to be more dangerous.
Y’all have been talking about him getting stronger. That’s not going to make him any quicker or give him the kind instinctive ability that some players have to ride a tackle. Give Luka Modric the ball and no one, no matter how big, mean and tough is taking it away from him. That’s a skill BA just does not come close to having.
Nevertheless, he’s still very useful and his biggest problem right now is he is running on fumes. Exhaustion makes your ball control weaker and increases the likelihood of bad giveaways.
Had Pochettino called him in he should have said no because he’s exhausted. He needs a rest.
