Three appearances in and Malik Tillman is off the mark for Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen.

Tillman scored his first goal for his new club in a 1-1 home draw with Borussia Moenchengladbach on Sunday. The U.S. men’s national team midfielder played the full 90 minutes at the BayArena, going head-to-head with Joe Scally in the process.

Tillman completed 92% of his passes, won four duels, drew two fouls, and made three defensive interceptions. The 23-year-old went the distance but watched as a 92nd minute equalizer from Gladbach, split the spoils for the two sides.

Tillman next will look to add to his goals when Bayer Leverkusen visits St. Pauli on September 27.

In England, Chris Richards and Crystal Palace continued their unbeaten league start. Ethan Horvath helped Sheffield Wednesday to its first league win in EFL Championship play. Aidan Morris and Middlesbrough defeated George Campbell and West Bromwich Albion.

In Italy, Christian Pulisic delivered a sensational performance for AC Milan at Udinese. Jonathan Klinsmann got the better of Gianluca Busio in their head-to-head Serie B clash.

In France, Tanner Tessmann scored Lyon’s winner at home against Angers. Lindsey Heaps also found the back of the net for Lyon’s women’s side.

In Germany, James Sands and St. Pauli lost to Stuttgart in Bundesliga play. Joe Scally started while Gio Reyna featured off of the bench for Borussia Moenchengladbach.

Elsewhere, Benji Michel lifted the Finnish Cup with HJK. Alex Zendejas assisted once in Club America’s Liga MX draw with Monterrey. Rokas Pukstas started, but Hajduk Split lost at home to rivals Dinamo Zagreb. Cade Cowell and Richie Ledezma both featured off of the bench in Chivas’ home loss to Toluca. Dante Polvara and Aberdeen suffered a League Cup exit vs. Motherwell.
