Joe Scally is back available for Borussia Moenchengladbach this weekend in what will be a crucial trip to rivals Borussia Dortmund.
Scally returns from suspension after missing last weekend’s 3-1 league loss to Wolfsburg. The veteran fullback has remained a consistent starter for Gladbach this season, logging 15 appearances and two assists in all competitions.
Gladbach has rebounded from a tough start to the season, moving up to 11th place in the league standings. Scally has played a major part in that and should be expected to return to the starting lineup for the start of the winter period.
A victory at Signal Iduna Park could move Eugen Polanski’s squad up to as high as eighth place by weekend’s end.
In England, Brenden Aaronson and Chris Richards go head-to-head in Premier League play. Antonee Robinson and Fulham close the weekend slate on Monday against Nottingham Forest.
