Christian Pulisic didn’t start in AC Milan’s trip to Torino on Monday but did have a vital say in the final scoreline.
Pulisic came off the bench to score twice in the Rossoneri’s 3-2 comeback Serie A victory over Torino. The U.S. men’s national team star took his season tally up to nine goals in all competitions, with seven coming in Serie A play.
Torino struck twice in the opening 17 minutes, grabbing a 2-0 lead in front of its home supporters. Nikola Vlasic slotted home from the penalty spot in the 10th minute before Duvan Zapata extended the hosts lead seven minutes later.
Adrien Rabiot cut the Rossoneri’s deficit in the 24th minute, making it 2-1 heading into the interval.
Pulisic entered the match in the 66th minute and quickly tied things up with a composed finish in the 18-yard box. Alexis Saelemaekers cross from the left wing fell to Pulisic, who took one touch and calmly finished off the play.
10 minutes after tying the match, the 27-year-old propelled AC Milan in front 3-2 with a left-footed volley. Samuele Ricci’s cross from the right wing was finished off by an onrushing Pulisic for his second goal of the half.
AC Milan would hang on to move top of the Serie A summit with 31 points earned through 14 league matches.
Pulisic now has scored 41 goals for the Rossoneri, tying former Italy legend Andrea Pirlo for 40th place on the club’s all-time scoring ranks.
AC Milan will continue league play on December 14 against Sassuolo with Pulisic seeking to force his way into Massimiliano Allegri’s starting lineup.

LoL. Dude strolled onto the pitch- made both those goals look waaaay more routine than they were- put the match to bed, went back to bed. Love to see it.
Wow….The kid came on (was on the bench because he was recovering from Flu symptoms) in the 65th minute, scored in the 66th min and scored again in the 76th min …… pure class and skill. Absolutely amazing!
Really really hope he can stay sharp and healthy
are we all in agreement that the yellow jersey for Milan is awful?
Yes! The Jersey is dreadful but his touch has been sublime.
Makes the look like the Crew.
I actually dont hate it.
They’re fine for Villarreal or Columbus, just don’t seem right for Milan.
You can’t see Captain America as skipper of the Yellow Submarine? For three hour cruise?
I was really scared for his health when he tried to jump over the advertising boards to get to the fans.
Developing that killer instinct now. Hope he stays at Milan.
First touch on the first goal was fantastic.
