  1. Still about 10 million off of PSV’s reported valuation.
    —————————
Leeds and Southampton reportedly made bids for PSV’s Cody Gakpo in Aug of 2022. The bids were said to be around 40 million pounds. Gakpo was the star of the group stages with 3g in his first 3 matches. They ended up selling him to Liverpool for 37 million pounds in January of 2023. It was said that Liverpool had a better add on package but we don’t know what those conditions were and if they were met. So a good World Cup for a known quantity doesn’t necessarily mean big numbers for PSV, just bigger named clubs that will pay said player a better salary. Gakpo was Marsch’s replacement for Raphina, but he backed out (according to Jesse take that for what it’s worth). Fulham doesn’t need Pepi to stay up so they may not push the numbers up to PSV’s evaluation. At this price he’d be a top 4 sell ever for the club.

  2. Liverpool renewing interest in Jedi.

Fulham still trying to sign Pepi. Sent a 32 million euros bid. Still think PSV will turn it down. Makes more sense to see if they can get more money for him after the WC.
