Robinson, Aaronson, Campbell among USMNT players to learn FA Cup opponents

The six remaining American players in this season’s English FA Cup have now learned their fourth round opponents.

Antonee Robinson and Brenden Aaronson were among five American players to advance out of third round action this past weekend. George Campbell and Daryl Dike both helped West Bromwich Albion reach the Round of 32 while Josh Sargent did not feature in Norwich City’s victory.

Dom Dwyer was also an unused substitute in Mansfield Town’s upset win over Sheffield United.

Robinson and Fulham will next visit second-tier side Stoke City. The U.S. men’s national team left back played the final 30 minutes in Saturday’s 3-1 win over Middlesbrough.

Aaronson and Leeds United also hit the road in the fourth round, traveling to second-tier club Birmingham City. Aaronson made a late cameo in the Lilywhites’ 3-1 victory over Derby County.

Campbell, Dike and West Brom next visit Sargent and Norwich City in the fourth round. Dike played 60 minutes in the Baggies’ shootout win over Swansea City while Campbell featured off of the bench.

Norwich City rolled past Walsall 5-1 at Carrow Road, but Sargent did not feature in the match. The American forward recently was linked with a reported move to MLS club Toronto FC.

Dwyer and Mansfield Town next take the trip to Premier League club Burnley.

Haji Wright, Chris Richards, and Aidan Morris were among the American players that suffered elimination over the past weekend.

The FA Cup fourth round schedule will take place over the weekend of February 14.
