AC Milan received a major boost on Wednesday ahead of Friday’s Serie A trip to Pisa.
U.S. men’s national team star Christian Pulisic returned to training after missing the Rossoneri’s last mach due to bursitis. Massimiliano Allegri’s squad claimed a 3-0 road win over Bologna eight days ago without Pulisic’s services.
In addition to his recent diagnosis of bursitis, Pulisic has also dealt with a hamstring issue over several months. He’s missed six matches for the Rossoneri this season, while also only starting three of AC Milan’s last seven matches in all competitions.
Pulisic was also not named in the USMNT’s November window, a pair of victories over Paraguay and Uruguay respectively.
The 27-year-old leads AC Milan with 10 goals this season, but is still seeking his first goal contribution of 2026. Eight of his 10 goals this campaign have come in Serie A play.
AC Milan sit second in the league table, eight points back of rivals and league-leaders Inter. The Rossoneri will also face Como and Parma in league play this month.
