Leeds United are trying to move further away from the English Premier League relegation zone and a strong result in South London on Sunday could boost their hopes.
Brenden Aaronson and Chris Richards face off in Premier League action on Sunday at Selhurst Park. Aaronson has continued to play weekly for the Lilywhites despite seeing his goal contributions dry up over the last few months.
The U.S. men’s national team attacker has failed to record a goal or assist in each of his last 10 appearances cross all competitions. Still, Aaronson remains a key part of Daniel Farke’s squad due this strong work rate and defensive pressure as an attacking player.
Richards has played 90 minutes in each of his last 11 appearances for Crystal Palace as he continues to be a consistent starter in Oliver Glasner’s backline. The USMNT defender has showed zero signs of slowing down this season and remains a likely option to retain his starting spot for the remainder of the season.
The Eagles are 10 points out of the top-five race this season and mathematically still have a chance to make a strong run at things.
Elsewhere in England, Alyssa Thompson and Phallon Tullis-Joyce square off in the Women’s League Cup Final. Tyler Adams and Bournemouth take on Burnley in Premier League action.
In France, Folarin Balogun seeks to keep up his strong goalscoring run against Stade Brest. Tim Weah and Marseille face Auxerre.
In Italy, Christian Pulisic and AC Milan face off with Lazio. Weston McKennie and Juventus travel to Udinese. Ben Cremaschi seeks a second-straight start for Parma.
In Germany, Joe Scally and James Sands square off in Bundesliga action. Malik Tillman and Bayer Leverkusen host Bayern Munich.

Ashley Cole, will be Jonathan Klinsmann’s new manager at Cesena. The two former LA Galaxy look to keep them in the promotion playoff zone. Cole left LAG in 2018, JK did not arrive until 2020.
Monchengladbach started a no-name 17 year old kid, Wael Mohya, against St. Pauli which they won 2 – 0………and Giovanni Reyna was untouched on the bench….the bench of a 12th place Bundesliga team…….WHAT GIVES WITH THIS KID????
Freddy Adu came out later in life and highlighted his mistakes, pitfalls and bad decisions he made along his career……..I really wonder what is TRULY GOING TO BE REVEALED about (or by) Reyna.
Clear Gio really doesn’t fit the coaches current style for Gladbach. I dont foresee many teams in Europe taking a flyer on him. I will be a bit surprised if Poch calls him up for the March friendlies. Maybe it would be good for him to return to MLS. But hey you never know with a full preseason with Gladbach he may force is way back in there. He should be left off the WC team in my opinion.
I think there are lingering injury issues or he’s afraid of re-injury. His sprints and sprint speed had declined to rates below guys in their mid 30s. Not a lot of data from this season but doesn’t look to be much different.

If we’re talking spot 26, I still take Gio because if he can put together 30 minutes he’s a good as we have and his performances for NT have been consistently good even when not playing for his club.
WHAT GIVES WITH YOU????
I really wonder what is TRULY GOING TO BE REVEALED about (or by) YOU.
CAPS used as an homage to your posts.
“no-name 17 year old kid, Wael Mohya.” More clown talk and oral vomit from you. Absolutely clueless.

Ben Cremanschi made his second start but hurt his knee in the 5th minute, tried to continue but went down again in the 7th minute. Walked off under own power but was in tears.
Cremanschi was a dark horse for me for a March callup. He has always had the talent, but would probably be competing for a lower slot in the depth chart. I don’t see a path forward for 2026.
Bummed for him, and hope his knee injury is nothing too serious.
As a player, he does a lot of things average, but unfortunately, nothing great. He projects as a solid professional that may have a long career, but as of now, all signs indicate it’s unlikely that he becomes a USMNT standout or starter.
If he is does, then it’s proof that that our USMNT is not making the necessary progress, and as a result, we are not making headway on the goal of winning a World Cup.
