Kevin Paredes is back available for Wolfsburg ahead of the final stretch of the 2025-26 Bundesliga season.
Paredes returned to full training this week ahead of Wolfsburg’s league trip to Union Berlin on Saturday. The American winger/wingback had been out of action since mid-February due to a muscular injury and overall has missed ample time this season.
After undergoing a foot procedure last August, Paredes did not make his first appearance of the campaign until January 11. He’s made five appearances in total for Wolfsburg in 2026, with his longest outing coming against Borussia Dortmund on February 7 (64 minutes).
A former DC United product, Paredes was reduced to only two appearances last season due to a recurring foot issue. The 22-year-old enjoyed positive seasons from 2022-24, scoring four goals and adding three assists.
In total, Paredes has made 62 appearances for Wolfsburg since joining from DC United in January 2022. His current contract is set to expire at season’s end.
Heโs earned three caps for the U.S. menโs national team to date since debuting in 2023.
Paredes will try and play a key role for Wolfsburg in the club’s fight to avoid Bundesliga relegation. The club sits 17th in the 18-club standings and are seven points from safety with five matches left to play.
Two of the club’s final matches come against teams sitting 14th or lower (Borussia Moenchengladbach and St. Pauli) while Wolfsburg’s toughest remaining test comes against league-leading Bayern Munich on May 9.
