Benny Feilhaber just cannot be stopped.
Having scored four goals in the past seven days, Feilhaber continued his tear with AGF Aarhus on Sunday as he assisted on two goals and scored a clutch game-winner in a 3-2 victory over Koge.
Feilhaber's decisive goal may have been his biggest one to date at the club level. Having come back from a 2-1 deficit, Aarhus earned three points when Feilhaber stepped up and curled a free kick into the back of the net from 23 yards out in the 92nd minute.
Michael Bradley and Herculez Gomez also scored this weekend for their respective clubs. Bradley got on the scoreboard in Borussia Moenchengladbach's 2-2 draw vs. Schalke 04 with one of his trademark late runs into the box, while Gomez calmly finished his first goal with Pachuca in the club's 3-1 triumph over Estudiantes.

Yeah Fulham is full of guys who were rated top 11 in EPL by top Italian sports rags last season, and they all win golden boots at tourneys vs Dempsey’s bronze boot only at confeds cup.
(I’m being sarcastic; and will continue ; )
And they all scored (however fortunate) at world cup – and despite all the heat poor robinson took for letting in clint’s goal, here’s a hint – if the man didn;t hit it with power, from distance – it wouldn’t have ricocheted into goal.
But oh yeah I forgot whole squad was contending for golden boot at World Cup.
Anyway, Clint at Fulham and now Stu at Bolton have bad days and make bad plays no question – but either could slide into more highly-rated squads; where they wouldn’t be one of the very best players, but could make the squad. In my estimation.
Likewise Landon went from being a Euro laughingstock to the missing ingredient for getting Everton through the meat of its schedule last winter. Capable yes, overrated no.
Notice Stu’s workrate and tacking is more highly regarded by EPL than by coach BB.
Very true, but the team is Second Division. Also, what’s up with there being virtually no fans in the bottom section? HAHA when he went to celebrate the winning goal in the stands, there was one lone guy to hug him.
In the run of play I don’t disagree, but for free kicks (and that one was money) I don’t think league matters. Same size goal. Same size wall to get around. I just hope he finds the escape hatch and gets on to bigger and better.
Anybody who wants to take a shot at MLS’s attendance should watch that Feilhaber video. Looked like the crowd for a college game, at best.
Benny is doing great, he’s like the leader of that team, which means he needs to get out of there and go the the Spanish league or the English league, I think he’s ready to play with the top dogs!!!

I’ve also heard from londoners that Craven Cottage is one of the best stands in football. Can’t wait to make a trip there myself.
Was at Craven Cottage on Saturday, the first time I’ve been able to make a game on a trip to London. Unbelievable soccer experience, easily the best place I’ve ever seen a match. Had a couple of pints under the Riverside stand looking out at the Thames while watching the Man City – Chelsea match before the Fulham match started. Bliss.
Man, they LOVE Dempsey over there – I don’t care about the occasional negative stuff that pops up on some of the websites, I had literally a dozen local Fulham supporters tell me how great he is. The guy I was sitting next to insisted Clint is one of the 50 best players in the world. They are really liking Salcido too – he played well against Blackburn last week and Everton on Saturday. The guys who were sitting near me all think they’ve hit a goldmine of underrated (and therefore affordable) North American players. Got myself a Dempsey jersey, hard to find over here. Guy in the Fulham shop said that OVER HALF of the Fulham jerseys (with player names) they sell have Dempsey on the back. The book was out on Eddie Johnson – he seems to be competent, but I think he’s going to need to score some goals to keep his job. The supporters were kind of mixed on EJ – they like his pace and they like to discover American diamonds in the rough, but he needs to find the net or they’ll start to lose interest.
Man, a trip to Craven Cottage is highly, highly recommended.

new manager Pablo Marini has given time to young midfielder Carlos Pena in the last two games instead of Torres. Torres will be back in the starting lineup soon, though
He wouldn’t be any worse then Buddle or Gomez have been for the national team.
We need to either find us a striker or admit we don’t have them and switch to using one up front with Donoavan and Dempsey playing futher up field and a green light to go it alone to the goal.
Nope, we’re going to see a 4-2-3-1 with Holden playing a bigger role. Jones introduction would be fantastic too. Here’s hoping we see Diskerud at some point in the near future for a few minutes off the bench.

I think that other Americans have a tendency, on the other hand, to underrate Americans.
For example, many were surprised at how well Donovan did at Everton last year. Why? He destroys the MLS and the MLS isn’t too shabby. He’s also a NT legend. He should be a top player, and he proved that he is.
As for Dempsey, I guess Italians overrate Americans too. A big newspaper over there had Dempsey in their top-XI premier league team last season.

He needs to be playing. League Two wasn’t bad for Somma, it proved to Leeds he could play and now he is starting and scoring in the Championship.
Grella can’t even make the bench. The teams who offered to take him offered short loans, 1-3 months, and I’m sure it would have included a recall clause.
But, losing a few starts would be worth it since he would be able to play in the Champions League.
Nahhh, screw that man. As long as Benny is scoring goals and making sweet passes like that he can ride as dirty as he wants to.
If he shaves it off though it better not be like Sacha turned out after his haircut
