Tillman and Pepi started for PSV……..Tillman and Pepi scored for PSV!!!!
Pepi scored 3 goals – a beautiful scissors kick, a low rising shot to the right of goal and A SNAP HEADER THAT THE GOALKEEPER (Jasper Schendelaar) PUSHED TO THE BAR AND BECAUSE IT CAME BACK AND HIT HIM WAS CONSIDERED AN OWN GOAL……..BS!!!!
PSV where indeed cooking and PEC where in over their heads. De long came off the bench and couldn’t get going (even missed a penalty)
PSV has a huge talent advantage most nights and when their opponents pick up reds for studs up tackles from behind 80 yds from goal they are going to roll. Their xG was only 2.30 (DeJong pk is .79) so that tells you a lot about the quality of the goals that out performed by almost four goals.
USA U17 women beat Nigeria 2-0, making the semis of the WC for the first time since 2008. Crystal Dunn and the Mewis sisters on that team that lost to North Korea in the final. They’ll play North Korea in the semi Wednesday.
Haji Wright was a menace all game long (he had Tom Holmes sent off). He hung in there and finally scored at the dying minutes of the match…..it wasn’t pretty but he scored after having multiple chances saved
