Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic are running away with the league title this winter and Thursday’s road win over rivals Rangers could truly be an early nail in the coffin.
Cameron Carter-Vickers and his Celtic teammates will take the short trip to Ibrox Stadium, seeking to extend their seven-match unbeaten run in the head-to-head series. Carter-Vickers, who has been linked with Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen sources tell SBI, remains a key part of Brendan Rodgers’ set-up.
The 26-year-old has made 18 combined appearances for the SPFL leaders, already helping the club capture one domestic trophy this winter. Carter-Vickers’ presence will once again be important as Celtic aims to continue their double-digit point lead over Rangers in 2025.

Leverkusen looking to bring in CCV. With Tah potentially moving on this could be a really good fit for CCV.
Hah if Celtic’s price is really 20 million pounds, there is no way Leverkusen buys him. Like Tillman, CCV never has lived up to his club form expectations with national team.
True, but plenty of International time for both to succeed and hopefully thrive for the USMNT.
Leverkusen about to make money off of Tah, and 20 million pounds is a bit high, but as always negotiations are the name of the game.
JR,
“CCV never has lived up to his club form expectations with national team.”
Maybe but why should Leverkusen care?
Leverkusen had a player who was great for the USMNT but sucked for them. Some guy named Donovan.
If CCV is doing great for Celtic and they think it would translate well to the Bundesliga, then his USMNT performance , which has not been as bad as you paint it, can be ignored.
Leverkusen understand better than most that national team form sometimes has nothing to do with club form.
