Americans Abroad Midweek Rewind: Musah, Aaronson, and more

AC Milan took another major step towards potentially lifting the Coppa Italia trophy this spring.

Yunus Musah shined as the Rossoneri defeated AS Roma 3-1 at the San Siro on Wednesday. The U.S. men’s national team midfielder started and played 90 minutes as Sergio Conceciao’s squad advanced to the semifinal round.

Musah completed four dribbles, won four duels, and made one interception as he started alongside international teammate Christian Pulisic. He was substituted off before the final whistle, completing his fourth-straight start in domestic play.

AC Milan will face either Inter or Lazio in the final four later this month.

In England, Brenden Aaronson and Leeds United extended their unbeaten run.

    • Yeah, if not in March then sometime this summer. I know he attended some youth camps but I don’t think he ever played. He played with German U20s all fall. He dressed for US Olympic team vs Japan U23s in June but did not play. Again this might fall into Pochettino’s, I’m not recruiting you’ve got to come to us.
