Americans Abroad Midweek Rewind: Richards, Pefok, and more

Crystal Palace returned to Selhurst Park on Tuesday for the first time since lifting the FA Cup, with Oliver Glasner’s men carrying over that confidence into Premier League play.

Chris Richards started and played 90 minutes as Crystal Palace defeated visiting Wolves 4-2. Richards made his 23rd league appearance of the season, helping the Eagles move to 12th place heading into the final weekend. The 25-year-old won six duels, made nine clearances, and completed one tackle as the South London club earned their 13th league win of the campaign.

After already sealing a berth into the 2025-26 UEFA Europa League group stage, Crystal Palace will aim to finish in the EPL’s top-ten with a victory on Sunday. The Eagles will travel to league winners Liverpool on the final day, knowing an upset at Anfield could lead to their highest league finish since 1990-91.

Elsewhere in England, Tyler Adams went the distance but Bournemouth suffered a 3-1 road loss to Manchester City.

In France, Jordan Pefok and Stade Reims earned a first leg draw with Metz in the Ligue 1 relegation series.
