Malik Tillman enjoyed plenty of positive moments during his time at Dutch giants PSV, but the American midfielder will now have his first crack at his former employers on Wednesday.
Tillman and Bayer Leverkusen welcome PSV to the BayArena on Wednesday as UEFA Champions League play continues. The U.S. men’s national team midfielder played 75 minutes on Saturday as the Bundesliga club earned a 2-1 league victory over St. Pauli.
Tillman has two goals to his name since making the summer move to Germany. Despite missing the start of the season though injury, the 23-year-old has started to find his form, which is a good sign for Kasper Hjulmand’s squad going forward.
