The U.S. women’s national team are joining up again for penultimate window of 2025.
Trinity Rodman, Lindsey Heaps, and Catarina Macario headlined Emma Hayes’ 26-player training camp roster for October’s upcoming trio of friendlies. Hayes will name 23 players to her match roster for each of the matches.
“We are extremely excited to get back together with the team,” said Hayes. “There has been a big gap from July until now and we’ve watched many club games. Now, it’s time to start the build towards qualifying for the 2027 World Cup. We want to maximize every minute we have together, push the players, and keep the momentum going. These three fantastic games ahead of us will help us do that.”
Heaps, Emily Fox, Macario, Lily Yohannes, and Phallon Tullis-Joyce are all back with the USWNT after being rested in the last FIFA window. Forward Trinity Rodman earned her first international call-up since April after being sidelined for most of the summer.
Defender Kennedy Wesley earned her first USWNT call-up. The San Diego Wave player has previously featured for the USWNT U-17’s, U-20’s and U-23’s.
The USWNT will face Portugal on Oct. 23 at Subaru Park and Oct. 26 at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field, and New Zealand on Oct. 29 at CPKC Stadium.
Once the USWNT faces Portugal in Chester, Pennsylvania, it will be 113 days since their last match on July 3.
