Daryl Dike looks to be ending his West Bromwich Albion season in style.
Dike scored for the second-consecutive match on Tuesday as the Baggies earned a 3-0 home win over Watford. The result moved James Morrison’s squad eight points clear of the relegation zone with two matches to play, however, the Baggies’ league status remains undetermined due to a potential point deduction.
West Brom were charged with breaching the EFL’s profit and sustainability rules (PSR), a sanction which would be imposed this season should the club be found guilty.
Issac Price propelled the hosts in front after 21 minutes before Dike added his name to the scoresheet ahead of halftime. Price’s free kick from the right wing was bundled in by Dike from close range to give West Brom a 2-0 advantage.
It marked Dike’s first pair of back-to-back goalscoring outings since January 2-14, 2023.
Daniel Imray iced the victory by adding West Brom’s third and final goal of the night, capping off a memorable home win at the Hawthorns.
Dike played 71 minutes from his forward position while fellow American teammate George Campbell logged the full 90 minutes in defense.
West Brom will next host Ipswich Town on Saturday before closing their schedule at already-relegated Sheffield Wednesday on May 2.

He is fearless and throws his body around: every team needs one of those guys late in the game to draw fouls and create havoc in the penalty area.
If he sneeks from behind and takes potential spot on WC roster spot meant for Agyemang before his injury, would be insanely awesome🤩😀🥳
